Anonymous asked: Hi, i was just wondering if you could describe your experiences with getting into Claremont McKenna college?
Well, I think that more than anything, I was in the right place at the right time, knew the right people, and did the right things. A lot of members of my family (not direct though) are alumni, and they left CMC instituting positive change, which I think definitely helped. Also, I focused most of my high school career around my extracurriculars, which I think was my real selling point. My grades are decent, but nowhere near the CMC average. However, I’ve been involved in at least 4-5 intensive extracurriculars a year every year since 8th grade. Honestly, from what I’ve heard, CMC wants to hear that you’re a leader in your community. I think they say that from me.
